This is a good option if you are staying in a Tulum town because you don’t really need to ride a long time and spend much on taxis or transportation. You can just get there and buy your ticket. If you are staying in Cancun or Playa del Carmen better check the price of taxi or transportation since it is an hour drive or more to the ruins. Consider that there is usually a line on the entrance tickets boot. You can enter the site on your own or hire a guide to take you around.
